1908

4th & Johnson Ave., White Bear Lake

Christmas cards were more popular than ever this year, and ornamental. A kid-made star says, "Love."

The children are still young (Eddie 11, Edith 10, Walter 9 and George 6), there are but a few games and books in evidence.

China is on display. The dishes featured hand-painted birds. The plate with a border is a building commemorative that reads "1909."

The books are Marking the (something) Boundary, Footed Friends ABC, The Owl's Story, Pussy & (something) Story, a painting book and a story book.
